Diabetic Inserts
Our inserts meet A5512 for Medicare reimbursement. They consist of a heat moldable polyurethane base of 3/16'' from the heel through the arch, tapering towards the toe at a durometer of Shore A 40. The top layer is Microcell, a ''skin-soft'' material that has a uniform and fine cell structure, and conforms to the shape of the foot to provide maximum comfort.

QUICKform
QUIKform® is a polymeric material. A Polymeric material is comprised of many units of thermoplastic, meaning that once the polymer is formed it can be heated and reformed over and over again. This property allows for easy processing and facilitates recycling. It has the appearance of a thin, semi-flexible sheet of plastic with a cloth cover on one side. When heated, QUIKform® behaves more like "hot melt" glue than plastic. It is self-adhesive on the exposed side when hot. The fabric side allows for the use of rubber cement type glues.
QUIKform® molds easily under vacuum and is grindable and washable. It is used for reinforcement for shoes and orthotics. Works well with heel counter reinforcements and other shoe and orthotic modifications.

Carbon Braid
Carbon braid, sometimes called "graphite fiber" Carbon fiber is one of the strongest and stiffest reinforcements available. 12K Tow. Woven tubular shape. 45 degree angle braid. Excellent for strength and light weight lay-ups. Rigid reinforcement.
Available in 4", 5",6",8", & 10" rolls or by the foot.
CARBON FOOT PLATES
Superform® is a composite material made of glass and carbon fibers in a polypropylene matrix and is much stronger & less brittle than other carbon composite materials. Superform® is used as a lightweight shell material when strength and rigidity is required for an athlete or where a thin orthotic is needed.
Available in Semi-Flexible, Semi-Rigid & Rigid.

Durasol
Durasol is a thin, highly durable, glueable soling material. Can be used any where tread is needed - shoes, wheelchair trays, walkers, etc.

Vinyl
A popular top cover material that is available in three colors, blends in with the shoe, and is smooth on the foot.
Impression Puff
Impression Puff™ is an Ethylene Vinyl Acetate (EVA) foam that is used in top covers and mid-layers in foot orthotics, and prosthetic inner linings.

Elasti-Cork
Elasti-Cork™ is a synthetic cork and is used in base layers for foot orthotics and posting. This natural latex substrate is a bit more rigid than light weight cork, but has the added ability to be molded.
